Significant progress in school readiness for young learners

Over the past three years, 90 percent of children in Seychelles have achieved a favourable readiness level for creche and preschool, indicating strong and steady progress in early childhood education.
This was highlighted yesterday during the National Early Childhood Care and Education forum, organised by the Institute of Early Childhood Development (IECD) at the Seychelles Institute of Teacher Education(site) yesterday, where the key findings of the Early Learning Readiness Assessment (ELRA) 2025 were shared.
