17 projects awarded funding under first call for 2026

 Seventeen proposals for the National Grants Scheme have received their funds under the first call for proposals for 2026. Vice-chairperson of the National Grants Committee, Tessa Henderson, handed over certificates to the grantees in an awareness session yesterday morning at the Olympic House, Roche Caiman.

The first call began on October 2025 and ended on November 12. The Appropriation Bill Allocation stood at R9,050,000.00. The total grant allocation is R5,898,434.00. The duration for the projects is 12 months.
