STA celebrates Slavic literature and culture

The Seychelles Tourism Academy hosted an event on May 27 dedicated to Slavic Literature and Culture Day, organised in collaboration with the Russian embassy in Seychelles and the African Initiative news agency.

Students studying Russian at the Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA) showcased their learning through musical performances, including the songs ‘Mother Earth’ and ‘Kalinka-Malinka’, as well as a short skit in Russian. Educational videos on Slavic writing and a welcome message from Shadrinsk State Pedagogical University in Russia were also featured. The event, attended by around 100 students, concluded with a buffet reception and dancing.
