Law Commission presents commemorative Constitution to President

The Seychelles Law Commission paid a courtesy call on President Patrick Herminie yesterday to formally present a commemorative copy of the Constitution of the Republic of Seychelles, marking a significant milestone in documenting the nation’s constitutional history during this year’s 50th Independence Day celebrations.

The commemorative edition was presented by Chief Justice Rony Govinden, chairperson of the Seychelles Law Commission, accompanied by fellow commissioners.

Speaking during the presentation, Chief Justice Govinden explained that the special publication is the result of extensive work undertaken by the Commission and serves as a comprehensive reference document containing all constitutional amendments made since the Constitution came into force in 1993.
