Providence landfill fire fully extinguished, site handed over to LWMA
A fire broke out at the Providence landfill at approximately 11.30pm on Tuesday, prompting an immediate response from the Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency (SFRSA). Seventeen firefighters remained on site through the night as operations continued to bring the blaze under control.
