TRNUC recommendations enter action phase

The swearing-in of the Commission for the Enforcement, Implementation and Monitoring of the Recommendations of the Truth, Reconciliation and National Unity Commission (TRNUC) took place yesterday morning at State House.

The Commission will appoint its chairperson and vice-chairperson within the next two days.

The five individuals nominated under the relevant Act to serve on the Commission and who took the Oath of Commissioners before President Patrick Herminie are Georges Bibi, Beryl Dodin, Joelle Barnes, Jacques Gbilimou and Christine Simeon.
