32 families receive keys to new homes

Thirty-two families received the keys to their new homes in two separate ceremonies held yesterday in the Pointe Larue and Anse Boileau districts. The handovers were led by President Patrick Herminie and Vice-President Sebastien Pillay, accompanied by ministers and government officials.
Pointe Larue – Vilaz Pozitivite
At Pointe Larue, above the Anse François Housing Estate, eight families received keys to three‑bedroom units forming the second phase of the estate. The project, administered by the Property Management Corporation (PMC), began in August 2023 and cost R14.1 million. Implemented by Onivo Construction, the budget included R7.35 million for site preparation and external infrastructure, and R6.75 million for construction.
