Distinguished politician and diplomat Dick Esparon passes away
Ambassador Dick Esparon, a distinguished politician and diplomat, passed away yesterday at the Seychelles Hospital after a long illness. He was 61 years old.
Born on March 17, 1965, he was the sixth of 11 children. His elder brother, Sylvestre Radegonde, was the Minister for Foreign Affairs under the presidency of Wavel Ramkalawan.
He held a degree in political science obtained from Cuba and was distinguished statesman who dedicated more than three decades of his life to the service of Seychelles.
