Mahé Shipping donates R50,000 to VTC

Mahé Shipping yesterday morning donated R50,000 to the Vocational Training Centre (VTC) in support of the centre’s efforts to enhance its learning resources and facilities.

The handover took place in the presence of principal secretary for the Family Department, Mike Morel; director general for the Elderly and Disabled Family Department, Nelda August; staff of Mahé Shipping and VTC; and students of the centre.

The financial contribution will be directed towards the development of the VTC’s library and the acquisition of specialised technologies to support students in their training and learning. It is also expected to help create a better learning environment and improve access to educational resources and technology.
