Youth answer call to save lives

As part of its ongoing Youth Festival activities, the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) hosted another blood drive this year, encouraging young people to play an active role in saving lives.

The initiative brought together youth from SNYC, post-secondary institutions, and organisations including the Seychelles Airports Authority (SAA), with participants stepping forward to make a valuable contribution to the community.

Assistant programme officer Juanitha Soloniaina explained that blood drives have been part of SNYC’s programmes since 2022 and continue to attract both regular and first-time donors.
