Seychelles, Georgia explore stronger ties

The ambassador‑designate of Georgia to the Republic of Seychelles, Gia Matcharadze, on Monday met with acting principal secretary Christian Faure at Maison Quéau de Quinssy, ahead of the presentation of his credentials yesterday.

The meeting provided an opportunity to explore ways of further strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the field of tourism, which remains an important sector for both countries. Both sides noted that the implementation of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement could enhance air connectivity and facilitate greater people‑to‑people exchanges.
