China, Seychelles celebrate 77 years of PRC

The Chinese embassy in Seychelles hosted a distinguished reception at the ambassador’s residence in Sans Souci last night to commemorate the 77th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The occasion was graced by President Patrick Herminie, First Lady Veronique Herminie, Vice-President Sebastien Pillay, ministers, senior government officials, and representatives of the Chinese embassy – reflecting the strength and depth of the bilateral relationship.
In her address, Ambassador Lin Nan expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Herminie, noting that his presence “fully shows the importance attached by the Seychelles government to the China‑Seychelles strategic partnership”.
