Alain St Ange honoured with ‘Golden Flag Award’ in Dubai

Alain St Ange, former Minister for Tourism & Culture of Seychelles and one of Africa’s most prominent international tourism figures, has been awarded the ‘Golden Flag Award’, the highest and most prestigious distinction of the Golden Rehla Awards 2026.

The honour recognises his long-standing career marked by influence and leadership in the tourism sector, his role in advancing regional cooperation, and his efforts to strengthen the global presence of smaller destinations.

The award was presented in the presence of Amanda Bernstein, Seychelles’ Minister for Tourism & Culture.

The Golden Flag Award is reserved for individuals or entities whose vision, achievements and sustainable legacy have had exceptional influence on the tourism industry. It represents the pinnacle of recognition within the Golden Rehla Awards, celebrating long-term impact, leadership, innovation and genuine transformation.
