Senior citizens consulted on review of ageing policy

The Ministry of Social Affairs, Family & Equality has begun consultations with senior citizens as part of the ongoing revision of the National Ageing Policy and the development of proposed legislation for older persons in Seychelles.

The consultation brought together chairpersons of senior citizens committees from districts across Mahé, providing them with an opportunity to share their experiences, concerns and recommendations on issues affecting older persons.
