CCC explosion inquiry hears findings of second investigative team

The Commission of Inquiry into the CCCL explosion of December 7, 2023 yesterday heard testimony from Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Vanessa Anacoura, who described her involvement in the second investigative team and outlined several findings made during the investigation.

ASP Anacoura, who holds a certificate in policing, said her involvement began in October 2024 after she received an email from then Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Francis Songoire instructing her to join the second investigative team.
