A new chapter in employee representation at the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) began yesterday with the official presentation of a registration certificate to the newly established SPTC Staff Association.

The certificate was presented during a ceremony at the Roche Caïman community centre attended by SPTC's management team and chief executive Geffy Zialor.

The registration certificate was handed to the association's chairperson, Marlene Boniface, by Jerry Sopha, chairperson of the United Workers Seychelles Union (UWSU).

The association was established to provide employees with a formal platform through which they can engage constructively with management, address workplace concerns and contribute to a positive working environment.
