SPTC, police probe circumstances of Petit Barbarons crash |26 September 2026

An investigation is under way following a road accident involving an SPTC bus and a private vehicle at Petit Barbarons yesterday morning.

According to the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC), the accident occurred at around 7.40am as the bus was travelling towards Victoria via La Misère. The corporation said the driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a collision with a private car.

Police said they were alerted to the accident at approximately 7.45am and responded to the scene.

Initial reports gathered by police indicate that the SPTC bus was travelling from Baie Lazare towards La Misère when it collided with a vehicle travelling in the direction of Anse Boileau.
