Designers present visions for national costume |09 October 2026

Ten local designers yesterday presented their concepts for a proposed national costume, showcasing the ideas, inspiration, fabrics and production processes they developed following a two-week workshop.

The session, organised by the Department of Culture, Arts & National Heritage, formed part of the ongoing effort to create a national costume for Seychelles. The initiative is also among the activities being undertaken in connection with this year’s Festival Kreol.
