Stakeholders prepare to roll out WPS plan |09 October 2026

Following the successful launch on Wednesday, October 7, of Seychelles’ first National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security (2026-2031), stakeholders from government ministries, departments, security agencies and civil society organisations gathered at the Eden Bleu Hotel on Eden Island yesterday for a one-day capacity-building and implementation session.

The National Action Plan seeks to advance the meaningful participation of women in peace, security, governance, crisis response and national resilience.
