The Office of the First Lady has received a donation of seven electric medical beds from Sofia Tankova and her family in an initiative aimed at supporting the care and wellbeing of people in need.
The donation was presented during a short ceremony held at State House Annex and attended by First Lady Véronique Herminie and the Minister for Social Affairs, Family & Equality, Pamela Charlette, who jointly performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
In her opening remarks, Mrs Herminie expressed appreciation to Ms Tankova for the donation, noting the importance of solidarity and compassion in supporting vulnerable members of society.
“They have shown themselves to be steadfast champions of our ongoing campaign for mobility and accessibility,” she said.
