President Faure extends message of condolence to Germany |22 February 2020

President Danny Faure has sent his condolences to Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, upon hearing of the tragic attack in the town of Hanau.

In his message, President Faure states :“In the wake of this tragedy, the government and people of the Republic of Seychelles join me in extending our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and of those injured, as well as to the government and people of Germany.”

“Seychelles strongly condemns such perpetrated acts. Kindly count on our continuous support as we remain firmly entrenched in our conviction that those responsible for senseless acts of this nature will not perpetuate fear, nor deter or dissuade us from living with love, compassion and freedom in our hearts,” concluded President Faure.
