President requests for consultation with Beau Vallon street vendors |13 May 2021

Following issues relating to street vendors operating at Beau Vallon, President Wavel Ramkalawan has formally requested that the member of the National Assembly for that district, Hon. John Hoareau, meets with the vendors along with all the relevant authorities in order to collectively agree on solutions.

This, with the primary objective of ensuring that the vendors are able to continue earning a living while also observing the appropriate hygiene measures and other regulations imposed by the health and district authorities in order to deliver the best service to their clients.
