TRASS calls for volunteers to help in forest restoration efforts |14 May 2026

The organisation behind ongoing forest restoration efforts on Praslin is calling on members of the public to volunteer and support its environmental mission.
Through a campaign encouraging greater community involvement, the Terrestrial Restoration Action Society of Seychelles (TRASS) is inviting residents to become involved in activities aimed at restoring and rehabilitating the forests of Praslin Island.
An annual general meeting has also been scheduled for May 16, 2026 at 9am at the nursery, Fond B’Offay, where members and interested volunteers will have the chance to learn more about ongoing projects and future plans.
The initiative focuses on conservation, reforestation and protecting the island’s natural environment through collective community action.
