Artistic Dance Factory Seychelles (ADF Seychelles) paid a courtesy call on President Patrick Herminie at State House yesterday afternoon following their outstanding performance at the World Dance Championship in Warsaw, Poland, held from April 10 to 12.
The studio secured fourth place among 14 participating countries, earning an impressive 46 medals – 17 gold, 13 silver, and 16 bronze – along with several trophies. Fifteen dancers represented Seychelles across categories ranging from mini kids to masters.
Founded just four years ago, ADF Seychelles specialises in ballroom styles including Latin, ballroom, and Caribbean dances. This was the studio’s sixth international competition and its second appearance in Warsaw.
President Herminie congratulated the dancers and coaches, praising their achievements and reaffirming the government’s support for future international competitions.
