Russian Film Festival held for the first time in Seychelles
The first Seychelles 2025 Russian Film Festival officially kicked off yesterday evening at the Deepam Cinema, with the screening of the retro drama, ‘Love of the Soviet Union’.
The film festival, organised by Russian governmental organisation ROSKINO, with support from Russia's Ministry of Culture and the Russian embassy of Seychelles, features six Russian films, which will be aired daily until November 18. Yesterday’s opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Russian ambassador to the Republic of Seychelles, Artyom Kozhin; ROSKINO chief executive Elza Antonova; and renowned Russian actor Kirill Kuznetsov. The Russian creative delegation also includes director Dmitry Khonin.
