President Herminie outlines drug, security, and legal priorities

President Patrick Herminie has announced that the Anti-Narcotics Bureau and the Financial Crime Investigation Unit, previously under the Seychelles Defence Forces, will be transferred to the Office of the President with their own governing laws. The move aims to strengthen the fight against drug trafficking.

Speaking at a press conference at State House yesterday morning, the Head of State addressed issues ranging from drug policy to national security.
