Bel Air district authority hosts first public meeting of 2026

The Bel Air district authority successfully held its first public meeting for 2026 on Saturday January 17, 2026, at the Bel Air district administration office.

The meeting brought together government leaders, district officials, and members of the public in a strong show of community engagement and transparency. Several ministers were in attendance, including the Minister for Employment and Human Resource Planning Idith Alexander, the Minister for Education and Human Resource Development, David Pierre, the Minister for Culture and Tourism, Amanda Bernstein; the Minister for Social Affairs, Family Affairs and Equality, Pamela Charlette; and the Minister for Local Government and Inner Islands, Eveline Rose. Also present were members of the District Authority Board and other government officials.
