Nation readies for 50th Independence Jubilee
With just four days to go before Seychelles marks the 50th anniversary of Independence, preparations are complete for what promises to be a grand national celebration.
This was announced by the National Day secretariat vice-chairperson Penny Belmont during a press conference yesterday attended by Superintendent Jeffrey Antoine, principal secretary for Inner Islands Denis Antat, Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) chief executive Geffy Zialor, and Galen Bresson from the National Day secretariat.
