40 dance students depart for Mauritius workshop
Forty students from the School of Dance at the Conservatoire of Performing Arts leave Seychelles today for Mauritius, embarking on an exciting journey to attend a prestigious dance workshop scheduled from August 9–19, 2026.
The students, aged 10 to 16 and hailing from Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, were formally presented to partners, sponsors, and parents during a short send‑off ceremony held yesterday afternoon at the National Theatre, Mont Fleuri. They are accompanied by three dance instructors and thirteen parents, with the delegation led by School of Dance director Daniella Rose.
