Police officers begin specialised training with German support

The Seychelles Police Force yesterday launched a series of specialised training programmes designed to strengthen officers’ investigative skills in areas including dark‑web investigations, narcotics investigations, and digital financial investigations.

The training is being held at the Military Training and Support Centre, Seychelles Coast Guard, Perseverance, and is delivered with the support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Federal Criminal Police Office based in Germany.

This initiative forms part of broader efforts to build the Police Force’s capacity to address increasingly complex forms of crime and to equip officers with modern investigative tools and techniques.
