‘I was brave enough to put myself out there for everyone to know’

At just 17 years old, Maria Meme is already thinking beyond herself. With a vision of creating better opportunities for young people in Seychelles, she has embarked on a journey she hopes will grow into something much bigger: Seeds of Hope.

The youth‑led initiative, built around the belief that “Every seed deserves to bloom”, aims to create spaces where young people can learn, connect, discover their talents and, most importantly, feel heard and valued.
