Students get first-hand look at tourism jobs

Students gained first-hand insight into the wide range of career opportunities available in the hospitality industry during a Careers Week engagement organised by the Careers and Further Education Agency (CaFEA), with support from the Tourism Department and tourism partner Niva Labriz.

The activity was designed to give students a better understanding of careers in tourism by allowing them to interact directly with industry professionals and experience aspects of hotel operations.

Niva Labriz human resources director Julita Jeremie said the main objective was to showcase the various departments within the hospitality sector and give students a realistic understanding of the career opportunities available.
