Assembly reconvenes today |27 March 2020

• Two bills, 2 ‘SI’s and a motion on the table

 

The National Assembly reconvenes today at 0900hrs.

The Minister for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning, Maurice Loustau-Lalanne, will present two bills before the House for First and Second Reading, namely the Central Bank of Seychelles (Amendment) Bill, 2020 and the Financial Institutions (Amendment) Bill, 2020.

Five Statutory Instruments (SI) will also be presented before the House.

In addition, a motion will be presented by Hon. Charles de Commarmond, the leader of government business, calling on the National Assembly to ratify the Reviewed Protocol 1 on Rules of Origin of the Interim Economic Partnership Agreement, pursuant to Article 64 (4).
