Sony PS5 officially launched in Seychelles by Sony World |28 December 2020

Play has no limits
The gaming community could not be more excited about the release of the next-generation consoles. PlayStation fans, in particular, are pumped up after the release of the PlayStation 5.
So far, early looks at the console have shown it to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing consoles that Sony has ever put out. However, it isn't the standard PS5 that has PS fans buzzing. Instead, it is the various special edition consoles that have come out alongside it.
The PS5 is a ninth-gen gaming console from Sony. The system is formally called the Sony PlayStation 5, or PS5 for short.
In terms of specs, the PS5 is a technically impressive piece of hardware. There's the new custom RDNA 2 GPU that can push 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, and the octa-core AMD Zen 2-based CPU with a 3.5GHz clock speed.
PlayStation has always offered more than just games, though. The PS5 hopes to impress with 4K Blu-ray playback, immersive 3D Audio, clever haptic feedback tech and top-notch streaming apps.
PlayStation 5 controller
The PlayStation 5 controller, the Dual Sense, is the largest design departure from any PlayStation controller to date. It features a new futuristic black and white design that largely matches the console itself.
The controller touts haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and a built-in microphone array. It also comes with a USB-C charging port, and Sony is replacing the Share button with a brand new Create button. The Dual Sense controller comes bundled with the console, though you can buy additional gamepads separately.
Without having the controller in your hands, it’s difficult to understand just how much of an upgrade it is over the last-gen model. The adaptive triggers provide more or less resistance depending on what you do or what is happening in the game. This level of tactile control simply isn’t available on anything other than high-end racing wheels.
Additional accessories
Accessories include a charging station for the Dual Sense, a new HD camera, and a media remote control. The Pulse 3D wireless headset is integrated with the PS5’s Tempest Engine 3D audio technology.
There are two PS5 models ‒ the regular PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 5 Digital edition. The two share identical specs, though as the name suggests, the Digital edition will only play digitally downloaded games. It does not have a disc drive.
