Breaking news - Seychellois man in ICU with positive Covid-19 PCR test |29 December 2020

A 59-year-old Seychellois taxi driver is in the intensive care unit at the isolation treatment centre after testing positive for Covid-19. He was first admitted to the Seychelles Hospital with severe illness.

A member of the man’s immediate family, with symptoms, has been admitted and is being investigated for Covid-19.

Health workers are tracing, quarantining, and testing the family’s recent contacts and will provide more information in a press conference.
