Public enterprises expected to update board charters within 90 days |25 April 2026

Public enterprises in Seychelles are expected to review and update their board charters within the next 90 days, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance standards across the sector.

The initiative is being guided by the Public Enterprise Monitoring Commission (PEMC), which oversees 30 of the country’s 34 public enterprises. It was a key focus of a half-day workshop held yesterday morning at the STC conference room, bringing together board chairpersons, secretaries, chief executives and senior management representatives.
