Football: UEFA Symposium for coach Education Directors-Ulric Mathiot chosen by Caf to attend |21 September 2005

A Caf and Fédération internationale de Football Association  (Fifa) Futuro grade three instructor, Mathiot is to leave the country this coming Sunday for Dublin and the symposium will take place from September 27 to 29.

Mathiot, who only last month conducted an instructors course in Douala, Cameroon, is expected back on Saturday October 1.

The other four participants from the African continent chosen by Caf to attend the symposium are Govinden Thondou (Coach Education Director within the Mauritius Football Association), Belhassen Malouche (Technical Director within the Tunisia Football Association), Sow Mama (Technical Director within the Senegal Football Association) and Amodu Shaibu (Caf coaching instructor within the Nigeria Football Association).

During the symposium, the coaches and technical directors will have the opportunity to voice their views about the development of training programmes and other issues.
