Round Island joins Marine Park five-star club |10 June 2006

The development, a venture by local accountant A.J. Shah, is expected to include a Lifestyle Spa, wellness centre and restaurant offering fusion cuisine combining Creole, Asian and European influences.

Each of the resort’s 10 chalets will feature an outdoor shower, private swimming pool, outdoor pavilion and private access to the beach.

The new resort will replace the popular Chez Gabby restaurant, which has served tourist and Seychellois visitors to the island for many years.

Ste. Anne and Cerf are already home to luxury hotel’s and work is set to begin on a Long Island five-star hotel, once the prison has been relocated to Montagne Posse.
