Presidential election 2006-Boulle meets supporters

Mr Boulle (centre) addresses Saturday's meeting

Saying that the country is in difficulties, he told them that there are currently many rallies being held in the country by political parties, "but these will solve nothing."

He therefore implored upon the supporters, some of whom donned campaign material promoting the other candidates, to vote him into the Office of President come the July 28-30 election.

"You do not wait for a person with heart problems to get a seizure for you to resuscitate him. You have to act before that," he told the supporters.

The meeting was also attended by Mr Boulle's vice-presidential candidate Henry Naiken and executive officer Marco Francis.

Mr Boulle has opened an office in Victoria House where people may call on him so that he can explain to them why they should vote for him and not the other two candidates, the incumbent President James Michel of the Seychelles People's Progressive Front and Opposition Leader Wavel Ramkalawan.
