Boxing-Allisop wins bronze in Dan Pozniak Cup |08 March 2010

After winning his first 57kg (featherweight) category fight against a boxer from Latvia, Allisop lost to a Lithuanian in the semifinal.

Stan Nicette was beaten by a fist-fighter from Belarus in his first bout in the 54kg (bantamweight) division.

Young boxer of the year Nicette will next compete in the inaugural Aiba (International Boxing Association) World Youth Boxing Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, from April 14-25, before taking part in the first Youth Olympic Games scheduled for August 14-26 in Singapore.
