World-famous pianist to perform here |13 November 2010

Considered as one of France’s most prominent and talented pianists, Mr Dalberto has won two prestigious international competitions – the Clara Haskil Prize 1975 and the Leeds International Piano Competition 1978.

He has played in some of the leading concert halls of Europe with many distinguished conductors, including Sir Colin Davis, Rudolf Barshai, Charles Dutoit and Wolfgang Sawallisch.
 
Mr Dalberto has appeared in major festivals around the world, including Aix-en-Provence, Aldeburgh, Edinburgh, Hong Kong, Lucerne, Grange de Meslay, Montreal, Montreux and Yokohama.

In Seychelles he will give only one performance, which is scheduled to start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost R300.

Mr Dalberto’s visit has been arranged by the French embassy in Seychelles and the Seychelles Tourism Board.
