Praslin hosts traditional Kreol wedding |28 October 2014

As part of the Festival Kreol 2014 in Seychelles, two couples were selected for a special Kreol wedding ceremony held on Praslin.

A foreign couple had a first ceremony at Anse Kerlan, with the help of the team from Constance Lemuria Seychelles, before joining a Seychellois couple at St Joseph Church for their Kreol ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony, a serenade accompanied the happy couples to the Grand Anse community centre, where a special kreol dinner took place with guests from the local community.

This event was organised by the Women in Action and Solidarity Organisation (Waso).
