Gaylord Silly finishes 52nd in 3.935km event in France |04 March 2015

Seychellois long distance runner Gaylord Silly finished the France Cross Course Championships 3.935km event in 52nd place among 277 competitors.

The 29 year-old who resides in France achieved the result which was his best in the championship held on March 1.

“The result is very encouraging for the rest of the season,” stated Gaylord Silly.

The terrain of the event was very demanding as Gaylord Silly explained: “The course was very muddy, a true cross course with bump and rough terrain which caused a lot of the competitors to fall and even lose their shoes in the mud.”

The 800m indoor National record holder will now turn his attention to the challenges coming to him in 2015 and hopes to use this performance as a springboard for further success.
