Gran Kaz gets live games casino |15 February 2016
Following the lighting of the new Gran Kaz Casino and Slots logo, guests toasted champagne and wine to celebrate of the opening of a new live games casino.
This prestigious ceremony was held following the launch of the Carnaval International de Victoria countdown last Thursday in the presence of the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St Ange, his principal secretaries – Anne Lafortune (tourism) and Benjamine Rose (culture) – chief executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) Sherin Naiken, her deputy Nathalie Didon, representatives of sponsors, and other partners.
This event not only marked the grand opening of their live games casino but also the new partnership between Gran Kaz and the Seychelles Tourism Board in relation to the Carnaval International de Victoria 2016.
Gran Kaz Casino and Slots chief executive CJ Laurent said they did not fully qualify as a casino before as they only had slots but now they offer live gaming such as American Roulette, Blackjack, Stud Poker, Russian Poker, Casino Hold’Em Poker and Texas Hold’Em Poker.
“We are now part of the national exposure and we would like to welcome you all on behalf of the tourism board and Gran Kaz Casino and Slots,” he said.
He also congratulated all those who have supported and sponsored past carnivals, adding that he hopes to make it even better this year.
Gran Kaz Casino and Slots had also prepared opening day lotteries for the customers.
The main lottery was the lucky spin where customers received welcome tickets upon entering the casino. The winning number would get a lucky spin for a chance to win.
There was also the lucky money draw where random customers were given envelopes with a written amount of non cashable lucky chips to play.
The opening day lottery budget was R33,000 guaranteed cash chips for Poker Best Combination and Roulette Jackpot. The rest depended on lucky spin results and amount of lucky money draw tickets by non cashable lucky chips.
