Badminton - Four young players on China training camp |27 April 2016
Four young badminton players have left the country for China to attend a three-week training camp.
The four players are preparing for the African Junior Championship that will take place in Morocco in July.
The players will be under the guidance of China-based Seychellois coach Gerard Bibi along with experienced Chinese coach Luo Guo Huo, the former national team trainer.
Ginessa Ravinia, Noelissa Remie, Jakim Renaud and Fabien Gerry are the four players who have made the trip, even though a team of eight was originally planned for the China training camp.
Because of financial constraints, Stephanie Henriette, Cheryl Lucas, Jarvis Renaud and Chris Esparon have remained behind and will train with coach Joel Dubel.
Vilina Cadeau is accompanying the players in China.
