Thierry Payet takes the limelight with 800m freestyle record
Thierry Payet was the only record breaker during the three-day National Age Group swimming championship.
On day one last Friday, Thierry Payet of the Aquafins club clocked 11 minutes 28.56 seconds (11:28.56) to erase the 10-11 years old category 800m freestyle record of 12:11.81 held by Kyle Fred since earlier this year.
Organised by the Seychelles Swimming Association, the three-day championship took place at the Roche Caïman pools.
