Establishing yourself in the music local industry is tough. It has a reputation for elitism, where connections to the right people could prove to be just as important as talent, but this doesn't necessarily lead to sell-out shows and big sales.
But one local group, Louis Gang, have successfully established themselves in the local music industry, and have mastered the art of bringing good music to the youths.
To officially launch their new album ‘Rev’ which was released a couple of months ago and celebrate their accomplishment for winning Best Group in the Cable Tune Awards for the second time in a row, the groupwill be live in a show at the International Conference Centre (ICCS) tomorrow night.
The concert will also be graced by the talented Joseph Sinon and Vurna with special appearance by Mercenary and Chicco.
The album has been very popular among the youths, and heralds greater success for the group in the future.
Louis Gang have been very active in the past months releasing several tracks for different ages, and entertaining their loyal fans.
The group, comprising JDA (Julian Basset), Pusso (Jules Dugasse), M.V (Mikael Vidot) and Ti Boss (Anil Bacco), were formed in 2009.
The young talented individuals have established themselves as key players in Seychelles, promoting the art of hip-hop in the country.
Their style intertwines an offbeat sensibility with a strong base in a free styling, and other hip-hop staples.
There's a lot of competition out there, many local singers want the fame and fortune of a successful singing career. Most successful singers spend years working on their voices and playing low-paying gigs before they make it big. Don't lose sight of your goal, and resolve to be patient, just like Louis Gang.

There will also be an after party which will take place at Fire and Ice, entrance R100 and strictly over 18 years old.
