Seychelles Breweries launches Coca Cola Zero sugar |17 May 2018
Seychelles Breweries Limited (SBL) has officially launched its new Coca Cola Zero sugar product which will be available for sale on the local market.
The launch of Coke Zero, which tastes like the original Coca Cola but without sugar, is a deliberate step taken by the company to respond to the changing tastes and preferences of an increasing number of people who are becoming more mindful of their diet and wish to manage their sugar intake.
Coca Cola Zero sugar was officially launched yesterday at a press conference at the company’s headquarters at Le Rocher.
Present at the launch were the chief executive (CEO) of SBL, Nick Cook, the Innovation and Project manager Matija Pisk and staff from the company.
The new product will sell at R17 each in 500ml PET bottles.
Mr Cook said that Coca Cola Zero sugar is a coke that tastes even more like classic Coca Cola but without any sugar, and to make the experience of drinking Coca Cola as close as possible to the real thing.
“This product is another proof of Coca Cola’s innovative power that has guaranteed its growth for the past 130 years making us one of the most loved brands in the world,” he said.
The launch of this new product will be supported by a marketing campaign designed to raise awareness of the Coca Cola options available for choice.
For weightwatchers who crave for the sweet taste of a Coca Cola product, they might reach out for a bottle of Coca Cola zero instead of the normal sugar Coca Cola.
The Coca Cola zero product is an ideal beverage of choice with not a source of sugar and contains no nutritional value among others.
Seychelles Breweries Ltd will promote the new product around the country through an aggressive marketing campaign.
