Double Click Exchange’s main branch opens, offers new services |21 August 2013

Double Click Exchange has officially opened its main branch, providing new services to its customers. The main branch at the Unity House was opened on Monday and as a bureau de change, Double Click offers all basic transactions, including selling and buying of foreign exchange, swift transfers, cash pick up services and others.

It will also offer members of the public the possibility to pay their Cable & Wireless phone bills, e-top up, buy starter pack and prepaid cards – both local and international. Customers can even buy mobile devices and headsets there.

Georges D’Offay, director corporate sales and customer operations at Cable & Wireless (Seychelles), and Double Click managing director Muditha Gunatilake had the honour to cut the ribbon to officially open the Double Click Exchange main branch.

Also present were David Deltel, manager marketing communication at Cable & Wireless (Seychelles) and Double Click Exchange staff.
Reverend Danny Elizabeth and Father Roger De Commarmond blessed the bureau de change.

Talking to Seychelles Nation, Mr Gunatilake said the new facility will be convenient for customers as the bureau de change is close to the bus terminal and it opens seven days a week up to 6.30pm on weekdays, until 4.30pm on Saturdays and until 2pm on Sundays.

For his part, Mr Deltel said the new services form part of Cable & Wireless’ strategy to make its customers more at ease.

Mr Gunatilake, being a longstanding corporate customer of Cable & Wireless, said it took only about one year to establish the negotiation and put forth this service. Customers are assured that upon paying their bills at Double Click Exchange they will be automatically registered on the Cable & Wireless system which is connected to that of Double Click Exchange.

Double Click Exchange’s bureau de change at the Double Click café in the Maison de La Rosière will remain operational.
