Addressing the guests, Mr Rashed said he is delighted to take the helm at Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove, where its history dates back to the founding year of 1943.

“We take pride of our ability to provide a truly authentic Seychellois hospitality experience with our workforce of 93% Seychellois,” he said.

Mr Rashed added that he is proud to be part of this team and is amazed by the genuine warmth, team spirit and drive of the Seychellois people.

The hotel is introducing new promotions at Cocoloba bar, Le Bourgeois, Le Cardinal and Zen Zpa to give clients a first-hand experience of its hospitality offerings.

Speaking to Seychelles Nation, Mr Rahshed said the hotel needs to be offering example of Seychellois hospitality and to increase the number of clients.

He added that the hotel’s team will focus on new emerging markets and ensure that Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove is repositioned as the heritage hotel.
